Slow Food Orlando is a non-profit organization dedicated to making positive change to the local food system in Central Florida by bringing awareness to the communtiy, and supporting farmers, restaurants, artisans and purveyors who practice organic, sustainable and responsible growing and selling practices.
Every year, we're proud to sponsor Eat Local Week—a weeklong celebration of local food, community and culture in Central Florida—where more than 30 area farmers and food artisans offer specials, workshops, tours and tastings throughout the week at various locations. Participating restaurants offer Prix Fixe menus ranging from $10 to $40, featuring ingredients sourced no more than 200 miles from Central Florida.
